Before I get started on today’s episode – how did you go with last week’s episode? It has turned out to be a very popular episode – talking about how to leverage your win at an award, or being a finalist or even just entering.  Being awards season I knew it would be timely – so if you haven’t listened to it yet, head back and do so after this one finishes!

My guest this week is Amanda Thompson from Endurance Financial – for financially fit women.  Amanda believes that preparation is key for long term success in business and she has got some great timely advice for us, having had the end of the financial year just recently.

This interview is actually a repeat of a Facebook Live I did with Amanda a few months back but really wanted to share it with you again here (in case you missed the Facebook Live inside my Like Minded Business Owners Facebook Group).

Now you’ve listened you know what I mean about taking action. If you are NOT paying yourself something from your business – please please please go and do so right now.  Set up a payment from your business account to your account and get it done.

Of course, any advice is general and always check with your financial advisor or accountant before making any business decisions – but honestly, if your accountant says not to be this, in some form or way – get a new accountant – sorry!
