Hey there, my fabulous listener, welcome to episode 243 of the Small Business Made Simple Podcast.

Thanks for lending me your ears today – I know you have lots of choices, so I sincerely appreciate me being one of them!

If you’re enjoying this podcast – I’d love you to take a screen shot and share it on your socials and tag me in it.  How cool would that be!

Don’t forget you can get the show notes for this podcast at www.socialmediaandmarketing.com.au/243

Did you have a listen into last week’s episode? Last week we had a chat about using social media to either impress your community or to impact your community.  The idea behind the podcast episode is to help you rethink the way you use social media and market yourself. Head back there if you didn’t get a chance to listen in already- click here to listen to ep 242 – www.socialmediaandmarketing.com.au/242

This week I am chatting to Sarah Aktag who has a business called Brand Eliza Stock which is a stock photo membership business.  I am always curious about stock photos, where to find good ones and who owns them when you do use them and so forth, so I was chuffed to have Sarah on the podcast to share her story about her business and why stock photos.

But before I chat with Sarah, I just wanted to give a shout-out to this week’s podcast sponsor – Airtree Resort. You might recognise the name from my socials as it’s where I hosted my Women in Business #notsobusiness Retreat a few weeks back. I hired the whole resort for my retreat – and it’s not as expensive as you might think! But it’s just not for retreats, you can have a golfing holiday there – they have a driving range, or you can have your wedding there or just pack up the family for a winter getaway and stay for a weekend or a week! Julz and Scratcha, good friends of mine, have made the resort super kids friendly with animals to pat and fed and a nature playground to envy, but also have a fire pit for just sitting and contemplating life! Check out Airtree Resort at www.airtreeresort.com.au or look them up on Facebook and Instagram.

I don’t actually know many Australian stock photo memberships, except a rural one, whose name I cannot remember right now to give them a shout-out, so Brand Eliza Stock is a little unique.  Take a listen to my chat all about stock photos with Sarah.

That was Sarah’s first ever podcast interview – she did great and gave some great pointers about using stock photos in our marketing and set us straight about the legalities of using stock images, which was great.  I’ve joined her membership, and if you’d like to take a peak or join as well, make sure you head to her website Brand Eliza Stock – the link is in the show notes at www.socialmediaandmarketing.com.au/243

Got questions or thoughts?  Get in touch or head to the Facebook group – Like Minded Business Owners and share with everyone over there.

If you loved this episode and found it valuable, please take 30 seconds out of your day to leave me a rating and review if you want where you are listening.  One more goal of mine is to reach more people with this podcast, and you can help me achieve that, by leaving me a review!  Thanks in advance.

See you next week on the podcast for episode 244!

Thanks again to Airtree Resort for sponsoring the podcast.  If you need a winter getaway or need to forward book your summer getaway, check out Airtree Resort – www.airtreeresort.com.au – links are in my show notes of course.

But in the meantime, let’s hang out on social and get social on social – you’ll find me on Instagram, Facebook and my fav LinkedIn.

But whatever you do,

……..remember small business peep, as my opening song says, there’s no point in dreaming small!
