Hey there, my fabulous listener, welcome to episode 250 of the Small Business Made Simple Podcast.

Thanks for lending me your ears today – I know you have lots of choices, so I sincerely appreciate me being one of them!

If you’re enjoying this podcast – I’d love you to take a screen shot and share it on your socials and tag me in it.  How cool would that be!

Don’t forget you can get the show notes for this podcast at

Did you have a listen into last week’s episode? Nikki Cali was my guest and she was talking all about courses and the tech around building courses in your business. If you haven’t listened already, head back there if you didn’t get a chance to listen in already- click here to listen to ep 249 –

But before I get started, I wanted to give a shout out to this week’s podcast sponsor – [INSERT KATE TOON PITCH]

And again before I start with my fabulous guest this week, Erin Huckle, I am just going to take a moment and celebrate the fact that this is episode 250.  I started this podcast back in 2018 and thought I’d be lucky to get to 30 – that’s the honest truth.  I had 27 mapped out when I started and thought I’d soon run out of things to say.  But apparently talking is my jam and here we are at 250! I always tell my community we should celebrate more often, so this is me popping pineapple juice (too early for Pepsi Max or Champagne!), raising my glass and saying cheers to myself.  I am pretty freaking proud of this podcast.  And if you’ve listened to all 250, I freaking love you! If not, I still love you.

But, this episode isn’t about me, it’s about my guest today is Erin Huckle from Chuckle Communications. And for those playing at home, yes, this is an interview podcast followed by an interview podcast which isn’t normally what I do, but (a) I am currently on a holiday and (b) I have so many amazing interviews to share with you, I needed to schedule this one in!

Erin Huckle, the founder of Chuckle Communications, is in the business of raising the profiles of her clients through proactive PR, amazing award entries and compelling written content. She works with innovative, ethical and creative small businesses and leaders, to find their voice and tell their stories. Her focus is on helping clients connect with their ideal customers, by turning up where they hang out.

A mum to three busy boys, Erin lives in Wollongong and spends any snippets of spare time reading, doing yoga, or being outside in nature taking deep breaths.

So, no more delays, here is my chat with Erin.

I hope you enjoyed that chat with Erin and you will start to make building your profile a priority in your business. The links to all her socials and website are in the show notes at

Erin does hang out in my Like Minded Business Owners group – so if you have questions, head there and tag her, she will be more than willing to help and answer any queries you might have.

If you want to chat to me about if a course is the right thing for you to do, There’s a link in the show notes for make an appointment with me or go to

So, that’s it for episode 250. Thanks for celebrating with me!  If you want to send me a gift, and if you loved this episode and found it valuable, please take 30 seconds out of your day to leave me a rating and review if you want where you are listening.  One more goal of mine is to reach more people with this podcast, and you can help me achieve that, by leaving me a review!  Thanks in advance.

See you next week on the podcast for episode 251.

Thanks again to Kate Toon and her new book Six Figures in School Hours – you can find out more and get the book here:

But in the meantime, let’s hang out on social and get social on social – you’ll find me on Instagram, Facebook and my fav LinkedIn.

But whatever you do,
