I hope your Christmas Day was wonderful – in my family we then front up to a few birthdays (including my eldest) before the New Year hits – it keeps the festive season going!

Traditionally this podcast isn’t long – so I intend to keep the tradition going. You’re either too busy or too relaxed right?

I, again, traditionally choose a saying to chat briefly about to see the year out.  This year I’ve chosen an oldie but a goodie

You can have excuses or results –  not both – YOUR CHOICE.

I think this one is something we seriously need to carry into 2023.

It’s not going to be roses and butterflies like of year.  It’s going to be rough economically; consumer confidence will be down and cost of living up.

BUT you can either use all those things and more as excuses for not getting the results you want or you can change, pivot, invest in yourself and platforms, learn more, do more strategic things, do less of what isn’t working now and do more of what is, and get RESULTS.

I run a multi-million dollar e-commerce platform that consists of a community in the hundreds of thousands and I can tell you the most successful business owners on our platform DO NOT blame the platform for no sales or admin for no sales or Facebook for no sales – NO they dig in, pivot, change, learn, collaborate, partner up, mix things up and get results – no matter how tough.

So, when you look back at your results for 2022 do you make excuses – blame others, blame your tools?

It’s ok if you do – after all it’s your choice.  You can have excuses or results – the choice is yours.
